Medicare, Made Personal.

Independent guidance for Michigan families approaching, entering, and living in Medicare.

A steadier way to approach Medicare

Medicare is one of the most important transitions of your life. We help you understand the landscape, weigh the trade-offs, and choose a path that fits the way you actually want to live — without the pressure or jargon you might find elsewhere.

Built for the people we’d want guiding our own parents

Our clients are thoughtful Michiganders — retirees, soon-to-be retirees, and family members helping a loved one through the Medicare process. They want a calm, knowledgeable partner, not a sales pitch.

How we work together

A simple, three-step process built around your life.

1

Listen

We start with your story — your doctors, your medications, your travel, your budget, the life you’re actually planning for.

2

Educate

We walk you through your Medicare options in plain language, so you understand what you’re choosing and why — before any decision is made.

3

Support

We’re here for the long term — questions, life changes, annual reviews. A steady hand, year after year.

Quiet expertise. Zero pressure.

We’re an independent Michigan firm. That independence means our advice is built around your situation, not a sales quota. The goal is simple: help you feel confident about the choice you’re making — and confident that someone is in your corner if anything changes.

Understanding your options

There are two main paths most Michiganders consider. Here’s how we think about each.

Medicare Supplement

A traditional approach designed to work alongside Original Medicare, helping to fill in many of the costs Medicare alone doesn’t cover. It tends to suit people who value predictability, broad doctor access, and steady coverage that doesn’t change year to year.

Medicare Advantage

An all-in-one approach that bundles your Medicare benefits into a single plan, often with additional features built in. It tends to suit people who want a coordinated experience and are comfortable working within a defined network of providers.

Serving Dual-Eligible Members

For Michiganders who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid, there are specialized options designed to coordinate the two. We help dual-eligible members understand what’s available and choose a path that respects their full situation.

The basics

The four parts of Medicare.

A quick overview of how the program is structured. We'll walk through what each part means for you when we sit down.

01

Part A

Hospital coverage.

Generally covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice, and some home health services. Most people don't pay a premium for Part A if they or their spouse paid Medicare taxes long enough during their working years.

02

Part B

Doctor and outpatient coverage.

Generally covers visits with doctors and other providers, outpatient care, certain preventive services, and durable medical equipment. Most people pay a monthly premium for Part B.

03

Part C

Medicare Advantage.

An alternative way to get your Part A and Part B benefits, offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare. These plans often bundle in extras and may include prescription drug coverage, with their own rules and costs.

04

Part D

Prescription drug coverage.

Helps cover the cost of prescription medications. Part D is offered through private insurance companies and can be added to Original Medicare or included as part of certain Medicare Advantage plans.

This is a general overview only — not advice on which option is right for you. We'll review the specifics together when we meet.

Common questions

Do I have to pay for a consultation?
No. Our initial conversations are at no cost to you. Take the time you need to ask questions and feel confident.
Do you work with people across Michigan?
Yes. We’re a Michigan-based firm helping Michigan families — whether you’re in a small town up north or a Detroit suburb, we’re happy to meet by phone, video, or in person where it makes sense.
What if my situation changes after I’m enrolled?
We’re your ongoing resource. New medication, a move, a new doctor, a life event — reach out and we’ll walk through what it means for you.
Will you pressure me into a decision?
Never. Our job is to give you the information and space to choose what’s right for you — on your timeline, not ours.

When you’re ready, we’re here.

A short, no-pressure conversation is the easiest way to see if we’re the right fit.
